Classical Guitar Performer
Eduardo Rodríguez M. A., is a Classical Guitar Player from Zacatecas, México. He did his bachelor studies in the National Music School of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) under the guidance of the international well-known guitarist Juan Carlos Laguna.
He obtained twice the scholarship of the Program of Encouragement for Creation and Artistic Development of Zacatecas (PECDAZ) in two different categories: Artistic Education, for the project “Profanación del Silencio” (2009) and Creators with Professional Trajectory, for the project “El Esqueleto de la Música” (2013). In 2014 he accomplish the project “Dícese de la Música”, and due to this project, he made several presentations as speaker and performer in different halls of Zacatecas’ State and in Junior-high schools and High schools.
He was a founder member of the Guitar Trio “Cuicacalli” and the “Fandango Guitar Trio”.
Eduardo has been highlighted as a guitar soloist playing with the Typical Orchestra of Mexico City, Acapulco Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Zacatecas. He has offered concerts in several Festivals and halls in México, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain and Mexico.
He has participated in master classes and courses with very well-known guitar players such as Álvaro Pierri (Uruguay), Pavel Steidl (Check Republic), Adam Hozman (USA), Pablo Márquez (Argentina), Jorge Luis Zamora (Cuba), Gerardo Arriaga (Mexico), Pablo Garibay (Mexico), Stephan Schmidt (Germany), Oscar Ghiglia (Italy), Paolo Pegoraro, (Italy), Marcin Dylla (Poland), David Russell (Scotland) among others.
Eduardo Rodríguez studied with the guitarist Laura Young (Canada) for the ‘Master of Arts’ Degree at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria.
