The Fandango Guitar Trio was founded in 2014 in Salzburg, Austria. Formed by Utkan Aslan (Turkey), Santiago Molina (Mexico) and Eduardo Rodríguez (Mexico), they participated in the Master Classes of well-known guitar players and musicians: Laura Young (Canada), Enno Vorhorst (Holland), Ellena Braslavsky (Russia) and Feliu Gasull (Spain), among others. They won three different prizes in international chamber music competitions:
- 3rd. prize in the International Chamber Music Competition for Guitar and Harp Savarez-Corelli in 2015. Salzburg, Austria.
- 2nd. prize in the International Chamber Music Competition of Zagreb, Croatia, in 2016.
- 3rd. prize in the International Chamber Music Competition for Guitar and Harp Savarez-Corelli in 2017. Salzburg, Austria.
