Son Moreno is a music band that performs traditional Mexican music, specifically from the sotavento of Veracruz, which is called ‘Son Jarocho’. This group was founded in 2014 by professional musicians from Mexico who are now settled in Salzburg, Austria. All of them finished their studies in the Mozarteum University.
The nostalgic for the Mexican culture and tradition motivated them to create this project, which has captivated to several audience and different audience with the colorful of the rhythms from the Mexican music.
